Brushed Nickel Kitchen Faucet with matching Sprayer - Bridge Style Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)This faucet proved to be a real letdown. It is presented as the product of an American company, Premier in Wilmington, Delaware, but it turned out to be just another mass-produced item from China. For the price, you might do better at Home Depot, where the nearly identical-looking "Pegasus" model can be had for considerably less money.
When I first installed the faucet, I was impressed with the feel of the valves; they had a smooth, gliding action that suggested a quality product. That smooth feeling lasted less than a week, then the hot water valve totally failed and the faucet became inoperative. I had to turn the hot water on and off using the shutoff valve under the kitchen sink.
I telephoned the factory, and the service tech I spoke with knew instantly what was wrong. He promised to send two replacement valves and told me how to install them. When the package arrived several days later, however, only one valve was enclosed. I put it it in the faucet, and it's been working ever since. But the nice gliding action is gone--both valves now have a rubbery, spongey-feel when they open or close.
My advice: buy a quality, American-made faucet if you can find one. There's no need to pay good money for poorly made, badly designed, made-in-China schlock.
