(More customer reviews)I received this item in a timely manner, however the received item is just the sprayer end and not included was the bottom ferrule and hose guide as depcited in the picture. The ad clearly states the hose is not included which is fine with me however I expected to receive what was pictured or a much better item description stating the hose guide and bottom ferrule are not included. Overall the quality of the product seems fine but I'm dissapointed with the missing parts as they will be difficult to match. Sent the company an email to see if they will do something on their end and will report back after receiving a reply...

(More customer reviews)I purchased this faucet for my new kitchen makeover. It is a beautiful faucet, well made and heavy. But it about ends there for me. The profile, while it looks tall in the picture, is really rather low. My fault, as I should checked the specs on it. This makes getting anything under it to rinse off very difficult. It also has a very short "warm water" span between cold and scalding hot. It takes forever to find it and that is a hassle when hand washing dishes. It is the first faucet I have ever used that is so hard to hit the exact area for warm water. I have become so frustrated with it that I am returning it. I am just waiting on my new faucet to arrive before I remove it and return it.
On a plus note..it was very easy to install.

The spray head is plastic, and the "RealSteel" is a color, according to GroheAmerica customer service. So, Ladylux Plus Sprayhead RealSteel Stainless Steel is all plastic!
I could have gone with the soft rubber black sprayhead and saved $40-$45.

American Standard 4175.503.002 Colony Soft Single-Control Kitchen Faucet with Escutcheon, Chrome Review

(More customer reviews)I just replaced one of these. When I first looked at the faucet, I thought there was some debris around the joint causing the faucet to stick. Actually pieces of the the thin chrome plating had chipped away. The metal underneath was heavily corroded, stained black, and expanding (explaining the sticking joint). It had already begun to leak water, and I decided it was irreparable.
I can't say it's a cheaply made faucet; it is solid and heavy. Don't expect it to last very long, however. The chrome plating is either too thin or too poorly bonded to protect the faucet.
The design itself is also silly. Why should a single handle, all-in-one faucet require 3 holes and a massive base? I would highly recommend buying one of the sets that connects each part (the faucet head, the control(s), a side spray, and sometimes a soap dispenser) through a single hole. That way it's easier to install (no plumber's putty necessary, disgusting stuff), clean, and repair. With the control handle separate from the faucet arm there is also less pressure on that joint; the arm is easier to move and less likely to bind later.
I looked at American Standard's warranty before replacing the faucet. It states: "The limited warranty excludes damage due to aggressive air or water conditions, or harsh or abrasive cleaners and/or materials." So basically if you use your faucet as a faucet, don't expect them to honor the lifetime warranty.

I know, it sounds obvious, but if I hadn't noticed the size differences in the covers offerred by Amazon, I would have assumed that a faucet hole was a faucet hole--so I thought I'd mention it.

(More customer reviews)I bought the satin nickel unit last week and installed it this week. Shipping was a respectable couple of days and everything arrived as described. The unit works very well, operates with zero noise and has not given me any problems to date. I have installed $400 units sold at Home Depot and I would never pay 3 times as much for those units compared to the Quick and Hot. The faucet is sturdy, of a high quality and does not look out of place in high priced kitchen. Great buy at less then $150.
Pros: Faucet is well constructed, multiple finishes available, adjustable temperature dial, 1 year warranty, price
Cons: Water drains back into the unit after use resulting in a 1-2 second delay at each use, the connections are all 1/4" copper tube pressure fittings (will leak if not sealed correctly), saddle tap valve is not included.

(More customer reviews)This faucet was here, used, when I bought the house five years ago, and it's holding up beautifully. The one-handle construction makes it easy to turn on and off, even if all you have clean available to adjust it is your wrist or the back of your hand. The switch where you change it from spray to stream (the black rubber covered area at the top of the faucet head) is a little stiff, but manageable -- which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The faucet pulls out easily and has a long enough reach to be able to water my garden window plants. In it's normal position, the height of the faucet makes it easy to fill most large pots, pitchers or pails, without having to pull the faucet out. The faucet of mine is metal, not plastic. Check on this one (who knows what changes they've made to newer models), but mine has the metal-wrapped pull-out tube. I've been very happy with this faucet, and would buy it again and do recommend it.

Schon SC415SS Pre-Rinse Kitchen Faucet, Stainless Steel Review

Lots of options out there, most of them less expensive, including the Danze Parma Single-Handle Pre-Rinse Faucet. While this appeared to be the most aesthetic looking model, it turns out to be just another Made In China product with inferior components.
Pros:
- Looks good, nice aesthetic design.
- The faucet part is stainless steel and appears to be robust.
- The single swivel handle to turn on the faucet is easy to use
- Water comes out of it when the faucet is turned on.
Cons:
- The handle is made from plastic, despite the stainless steel look. Disappointing.
- Hard to switch between the spray and pour mode by swiveling the end of the cheap plastic handle
- The spring that holds the handle up tends to push it forward even when docked giving it the strange look that it is leaning forward.
- Expensive.
Overall I'm disappointed to find out that Schon is just a marketing brand for a Chinese Manufacturer.

(More customer reviews)I, too, bought this faucet to replace another for my reverse osmosis system when I had granite counters installed. This was the closest style and finish to the new kitchen faucet online or in a store so I ordered it based on the online picture! It arrived quickly, is made of quality components and looks great. Check out the manufacturer's site for finish options- I believe you'll see they recommend the nickel finish (the one I chose) over stainless if you are trying to match to a stainless sink. The nickel goes quite well. I had a plumber install due to the complexity of reconnecting all the drains, etc, due to the new sink and he had no problems. We've used it multiple times a day for about 2 months and I am still very satisfied.

It arrived TODAY at about 1pm and it was installed by 1:30pm. Only 19 hours from diagnosis to completion? Are you kidding me? Amazingly fast shipping by Amazon, and an extremely easy replacement part to install. I am in awe of how easy this was. Oh, and Amazon was $30 cheaper than the other website that I saw this part at. (More customer reviews)I am rating this product with a 5 star because it is extremely easy to install and because its double swivel adjustable sprayhead allows one to rinse a sink perfectly without having to use your hose sprayer. It also gives one the option to alternate between a normal water flow and a jet spray flow with a quick pull. This is the only problem with this item: the pull push sleeve does not last indefinetly, in my case a couple of years. Today was the third time I have purchased this item. I like it so much that I am willing to spend the ten bucks, even though I know I will have to replace it. Today I bought the "ultra" eurojet which looks slightly different and the plastic parts are black instead of white which fit my kitchen better. It is 3 dollars more expensive. I hope it will last longer.
