(More customer reviews)Not much more than a year after installation, this faucet started leaking under the sink, not from the hose. I called a plumber and he said it can't be repaired. I called Price Pfister (1-800-pfaucet) and without questions, they are sending me a replacement. That made me suspicious, so I started looking around at reviews of their products. I see that other Price Pfister faucets are defective. This was an expensive purchase: expensive faucet + installation + expedited shipping for replacement (the kitchen is useless with the water off) + plumber's inspection + new installation.
A note from months later: Price Pfister sent me the low-end version of the faucet to replace the higher-end version I had bought. I had a plumber there, ready to install it, but when we looked at it we realized it was pretty different. Low-end faucets tend to have parts that are much less durable than high-end faucets. When I called to ask about this, they said they didn't have the original in stock and sent me the one that looked most like it. I told them that was unacceptable -- after all, I paid $200+ for the first and the second sold on the internet for about $70 (cheapest). So they said "well, just tell us what you want; look at our web site and we'll send you anything." So I selected one of the higher-end faucets and it arrived in a couple of days. I got the plumber back out to install it and it works fine. But I did have to pay for the plumber to show up twice, and that's not cheap. It's too bad they didn't call me in the first place to say the original was unavailable and offer alternatives.
