(More customer reviews)Please search "Installing the Moen 1225/1200 Cartridge" on the moen website. If you have a Moen 7200 faucet, note the ring between the handle and the top of the faucet where the cartridge protrudes. You will have to use a wrench to unscrew this ring, the retainer pivot nut is housed inside the ring. No need to touch/unscrew the portion of the retainer nut above the ring with the wrench. Once unscrewed, push out the retainer nut from the ring, align the new retainer nut per the instructions and screw back the ring. Hope this saves someone a few minutes of effort.
