I love this sink - I don't know why the header says I'm unhappy and I can't seem to change it. I'm unhappy with Amazon for that. When I bought this sink it seemed a bit expensive but I quickly learned that you do get what you pay for. It is a heavy gauge steel with sound dampening padding and wonderful finish. While it might be a bit more expensive, you get additional items like stainless steel grates for both tub basins along with other items like a drain strainer. When you add the cost of these free items you learn that the other less expensive sink would have actually cost more than the C-Tech once you bought the additional items. Also, many of the other brand sinks don't recommend using plumbers putty around the drain flanges for fear of metal finish discoloration.
The finish is very nicely done and if you happen to scratch it you can retouch it with a bit of very light weight steel wool, sanding paper, and some metal polish.
This sink has 2 good size tubs. The larger tub is truly big enough to wash those large size pans without scraping the sides of the sink or you can give the grandkids a bath if the need arises. The smaller tub is still good size and as big or bigger than most other sinks of a similar style and design. I give this sink an A+ design score.
Perhaps most important is the C-Tech company itself. We had a minor problem with the small base feet of the steel grates wearing out and I sent an email to the company stating the problem. A couple of weeks later I received replacement foot pads without ever receiving any sort of email or phone call asking for more information about the problem. The company obviously stands behind their products.
Just make sure that you check your sink when you receive it as the top flange can be somewhat bent and make it difficult to install in an undermount manner. Ours was very easy to install by grinding or routering out a small amount of material (1/8 inch) from the sub-top plywood that holds the sink in place beneath the granite counter top. You then lay in a small bead of silicone to seal out moisture from getting past the sink edge and beneath the granite.
