The unit I purchased, however, had a defective diverter assembly which caused the faucet to bang repeatedly each time the water was turned on. A replacement part was covered by Delta's lifetime warranty, but not the high cost of the plumber to diagnose the problem in the newly installed unit. Delta offered to ship the replacement part free of charge in 10-14 business days. If you purchase this faucet and it bangs when you turn it on, don't call a plumber -- first call Delta's warranty service and ask them to send you a replacement diverter assembly and instruct you on how to replace it.
