As claimed by Danco, the stem replacement is indeed a perfect match. The replacements work perfectly and for a far lesser cost than replacing a complete faucet assembly.
For a small amount of plastic & rubber, one might consider the cost of these replacements to be high but, once again, you're paying for convenience and avoiding much higher costs.
Leroys' pricing is very competitive compared with other online plumbing supply houses for the parts. Shipping is very prompt and efficient although the "handling" portion of the "shipping & handling" charge far exceeds the actual mailing cost. On balance, the overall cost of parts, plus mailing cost, plus handling charge, is still competitive with others who charge less for handling but more for the parts. Leroys performs quickly and efficiently. I would not hesitate to buy from them again after diligently comparing overall parts+shipping+handling pricing from other vendors.
