The unit I purchased, however, had a defective diverter assembly which caused the faucet to bang repeatedly each time the water was turned on. A replacement part was covered by Delta's lifetime warranty, but not the high cost of the plumber to diagnose the problem in the newly installed unit. Delta offered to ship the replacement part free of charge in 10-14 business days. If you purchase this faucet and it bangs when you turn it on, don't call a plumber -- first call Delta's warranty service and ask them to send you a replacement diverter assembly and instruct you on how to replace it.

Culligan FM-2A Faucet Drinking Water Filter System Review

(More customer reviews)This is our second Culligan faucet filter. The first failed (mounting nut cracked) after approximately five years use. It makes our city water taste much better and does so at relatively low cost. I can't report the number of gallons treated before a filter change is needed (defined by very slow flow of filtered water), but I can say that it lasts 5-6 months in our two-person household.
I believe this is a discontinued model, so buying filters may be a future problem.
