We love this sink. My wife water a single bowl sink so her larger pans would lie flat, I wanted a double bowl sink so we could have a rinsing bowl while hand washing the dishes we didn't want to put in the dishwashers (fine china, good cookware, knives). The oversized left bowl fits a 12" skillet flat, handle and all, while the slightly smaller right bowl is still plenty big enough for almost any task.
Some notes:
1) Get a faucet that can be mounted "single hole", because you'll want the faucet mounted on the leftmost mounting hole. If you use a 3-hole faucet, the filler will be off-center. It would work, just be aware. There are 4 more holes for mounting air gaps, controls, dispensers, etc.
2) The sink doesn't ship with sink strainers. You could re-use yours, but more likely you will want to by new. Kohler makes strainers (Duostariner) and disposal flanges that match their faucet finishes, these are beautiful and sturdy parts that will match the solidity of the cast iron sink well. I'm very glad we invested in them
3) The other review called this sink "fragile"; while it might break if you went after it with a 16 lb sledge hammer, the porcelain finish is tough and the iron is thick and sturdy. This sink could outlast you kitchen
4) There are also racks for the bottom of the sink, if you tend to drop plates and glasses into you sink, these can offer a bit of "cushion" to reduce the odds of breakage, since teh sink has almost no "give", dropped dishes have a higher chance of breaking than thin sheet steel sinks which flex readily.
