The disclaimer told me to expect some discoloration or scratches on the neck that were likely due to previous packaging/shipment activity. I held my breath, crossed my fingers and ordered. When the faucet arrived jsut a few days later, I was thrilled to find none of the damage described, and instead found myself looking at this massive and stylish attention-grabber. I couldn't wait for the new granite kitchen countertops to arrive, so I installed it onto a piece of MDF board we're currently using. Installation was a breeze and the unit looks and feels like it cost hundreds more. The weight on the inside end of the pull down hand wash is prefectly balanced and easily helps return the head to its well-fitting home in the faucet's neck. There is a notch on the neck that holds the head firmaly in place without rotation, a feature that I especially appreciate. The design is perfect for our contemporary casual kitchen, although the brushed nickel color tone isn't a perfect match for our brilliant stainless steel sink. Installing the soap pump made a difference and balanced the overall aesthetic. Water pressure is fine and both the stream and spray modes provide good flow and coverage. I have a feeling that this faucet and soap combo will last a good, long time. My first guests have already shared 100% positive feedback and it's been a pleasure to introduce them to both Pegasus and amazon.com as resources for their own kitchen improvement projects. Now, I'm just waiting for the granite to bring this faucet's style and full beauty to bear on my new kitchen.
