The pull out faucet adds greater convenience (filling a large vase, rinsing the outer edges of the sink, and perhaps a bucket when mopping the floor). This is one of the only pull out bathroom faucets there are. We also have a KWC (European) pull out lavatory faucet that cost 4 times as much, which we ordered again this time, but gave up after 3 months of waiting with no ETA from the manufacturer. The 2 stream option is also very nice.
