(More customer reviews)We just remodeled our kitchen and put in this sink.We love it and when we have guests invariably someone comments on how they like it too. My husband was concerned that we would never use the little sink, but we do all the time. For parties we put drinks on ice; I use it for making coffee in the coffee press in the morning; I put items in it I don't want to go into the dishwasher; and we LOVE that it leaves the larger side clear for things like my large sheet pans! I am a food writer and this sink comes in so handy when I am testing recipes. I can't say enough!

In hindsight I would have put the garbage disposal on the larger sink side, after soaking pots or having large dishes to rinse, it would be easier to do in the large side.

KOHLER K-3346-3-NA Toccata Double Equal Self-Rimming Kitchen Sink Review

(More customer reviews)We recently replaced our old ceramic sink with this model from Kohler and we couldn't be more pleased. The ceramic sinks look great at first, but after only 8 years it looked horrible. Replacing the old sink with this stainless model has improved the look of our entire kitchen far more than I thought it would.
As far as the installation goes, I found some videos online and just followed those instructions. It took about 3 hours to replace the sink along with adding a new faucet and garbage disposer. Since I had everything torn apart, I went ahead and replaced all of the drain pipes as well. The only thing I needed for the install was a new stainless steel strainer for the non-disposer side of the sink as well as some plumber's putty, teflon tape and caulk. I did need help dropping the new sink into place without getting caulk all over myself; but my 13-year-old daughter was more than capable of that.
The SilentShield feature is kind of cheesy since it's really just a few rubber pads taped to the sink to limit vibration. I know that those pads really do help reduce vibration, but it seems lame to come up with a marketing name for something so simple.
If you're looking for a new stainless steel sink and don't want to break the bank for it, then I highly recommend this model. We've been really pleased with it; and, as I mentioned before it has dramatically improved the look of our entire kitchen.
